The Generational Beauty Project intends to promote social change by starting a conversation on the evolution of beauty standards from generation to generation. This project explores the differences and similarities in beauty standards between the generations that a mother and her daughter have lived through.

The issues covered include societal pressures on women, social media’s impact on beauty, how beauty standards have changed through generations, and the pressures that are imposed on women today.

The Generational Beauty Project features 8 mother-daughter duos’ who speak on their personal experiences with beauty ideals and how their relationships have led them to becoming the women they are today.
