Sachreet and Shuchi founded Power To Her with the goal of empowering women daily through their platform. They seek to implement Power To Her’s work on a worldwide basis and end gender-based inequalities. These two women met during their years studying at the Schulich School of Business through mutual friends. However, it was not until their post-grad trip, sitting poolside and having conversations about things they’ve faced as women that they would decide to come together and form their organization. Power To Her means giving the power back to each and every single woman and providing them with the help and resources to live their most authentic life.

Shuchi Jain
FOUNDER
Shuchi is an iBBA graduate from the Schulich School of Business . She recognized the inequalities of society very late in life and wishes she could have entered into activism earlier on. Thus she hopes to help others advocate for their beliefs and raise awareness through Power To Her. She is also a professional dancer and choreographer, avid traveller and content creator.

From a young age, Sachreet has always held a passion for social activism with big dreams of one day starting her own non-profit organization. Other than being a graduate from the Schulich School of Business with an iBBA degree, she is also an aspiring writer, philanthropist, and creative content creator.

Devika Jain
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Meet Devika Jain: she is doing an honours in criminology from the University of Ottawa and hopes to pursue a career in law. From the very beginning, the oppression and inequality of certain groups in society has troubled her. She hopes to make a difference through advocacy.
